2023 - ein neues Wanderjahr steht vor der Tür / the new hiking season is just around the corner
Es ist Ende März, die Langlauf- und Skisaison geht ihrem Ende zu und es wird Zeit, sich wieder auf das Wandern vorzubereiten. Noch kann man nicht ganz hinauf, trotz des schneearmen Winters liegt oben noch zu viel von der weißen Pracht, als dass man ohne Hilfsmittel wandern könnte. Aber das wird die Sonne schon noch richten...
Dieses Jahr werde ich wieder für ASI Reisen - Alpinschule Innsbruck über die Alpen wandern und meinen Gästen hoffentlich das ein oder andere Highlight am Wegesrand und in der Natur zeigen können. Die Strecke von Oberstdorf nach Meran zählt zu den Klassikern der Alpenüberquerungen, wir lassen es allerdings etwas gemütlicher angehen und übernachten in Hotels am Rande der Strecke. Dadurch haben wir nur das Tagesgepäck dabei, der Rest wird von Unterkunft zu Unterkunft transportiert und auch die Schlafqualität ist wesentlich besser als auf der Hütte. Zudem kommen wir in den Genuss von Sauna, Dampfbad und auch Pool, so gelingt die Regeneration leichter.
Aber - die Tour von WWF und DAV Summit Club über die Gletscher in Zeiten des Klimawandels steht ebenfalls wieder auf meinem Programm. Ihr habt bestimmt schon den Link ganz am Beginn meiner Homepage angeklickt, unter dem man den letztes Jahr gedrehten Imagefilm sehen kann. Ich finde ihn sehr gelungen, vor allem bekommt man schon vorab einen guten Einblick, welch spektakuläre Landschaft uns dort erwartet.
Ich freue mich auf das Wanderjahr 2023 und vor allem darauf, euch hier bei mir in der Bergen - dem schönsten Arbeitsplatz der Welt - begrüßen zu können.
It's the end of March, the skiing and cross country season is coming to its end and this ist the right time to prepare for the upcoming hiking time. Despite the lack of snow during this winter, you cannot yet climb up to the peaks without the use of poles or crampons. But the sun is shining and we will await the mountains being free of snow...
Also this year I will hike across the alps for ASI Reisen - Alpinschule Innsbruck. Hopefully I will be able to show to my guests some highlights of nature at the wayside. The route from Oberstdorf to Meran is one of the classic routes across the alps. But we will start a little bit more comfortable, sleeping not in alpine huts, but in hotels or inns along the way, carrying only our daily backpack, the remaining luggage being transported from one accommodation to the next. In addition to that, we can enjoy sauna, steam sauna and pool while relaxing and regenerating.
But also the tour of WWF and DAV Summit Club concerning glaciers in times of climate change will be on my schedule. I'm sure you have already clicked on the link right on top of my website, where you can find the image film we shot last year. In my opinion it is a wonderful movie, especially you will get a good idea of how spectacular the landscape is, which we are hiking through during this tour.
